North China has become my Go-To for Chinese Takeout. Downside, a dollar or two pricier than my previous go-to. Either way, Get the Crispy Beef!
I ordered delivery from here and was impressed. The food came hot and fresh and the portions were large. The wonton soup was enjoyable with lots of pork dumplings and a tasty broth. The twice cooked pork was tasty and interesting with spicy pork, cabbage and mushrooms among other vegetables and a large side of rice. I was hungry and still had leftovers. I enjoyed my meal and will order delivery from here again.
First, they are super friendly--Nancy and Annie are awesome! The food is incredible, and it's definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the entire DMV area.
Got the Beef Chow Fun and was very happy with my meal, generous serving and lots of green onion & onion, just how I like it! Trued the fried dumplings which were yummy but quite small.
I am always looking for a good Chinese take out that has great Egg Fu Young and Hot Sour Soup. This place is my favorite of all places. Not many Chinese restaurants have Egg Fu Young.... And this place not only has it but it's fantastic..... their other dishes are delicious as well. Very reasonable prices. Our go to place for Chinese take out.

It was a chilly day and I felt hungover and all I wanted some a hot, soul warming soup. And I randomly stumbled across North China Cafe. I ended up ordering an egg drop soup and beef chow fun to go (they only do delivery or togo). Let me tell you that this egg drop soup heals!!!! I felt immediately better and there was a good amount of egg to soup ratio whilst keeping the traditional goopy egg drop soup texture. The soup came with some fried wonton crackers which was so good and came out fresh and warm. Tip: add some chili oil or black vinegar! The service was friendly and everything came out within 10-15 minutes! The beef chow fun ratio for noodle, meat and onions were a bit off but the fact that the egg drop soup was so good... Ill let it slide... Anyways.... I strictly only come here for soup. The egg drop soup ofc and the hot and sour soup was surprisingly good as I typically don't like hot and sour.

I'm a big lunch menu guy - general tso lunch special or triple delight is a goood deal! We also order trays of lo mein for potluck and never disappoints! I've always searched for these local mom/pop stores and this is the best one in the vicinity. Try it out! (No indoor seating so take it to go!)
